I’ve had mixed opinions about Eva Longoria’s style choices in the past, but I think she looks downright adorable in this black and white polka-dotted dress and sexy black Gucci Indy handbag. If you had asked me which celebrity would be scooping up Prada’s new Ombre handbag, wholesome mom Jennifer Garner would have been at the bottom of the list. Yes, Garner is a big fan of Prada, but this multi-toned purse is pretty cutting-edge for her. I’m not crazy about this particular handbag, although I have to say that Jennifer’s purse looks pretty muted and not as eccentric as the ads seem. Jen was smart and stuck to a simple outfit that doesn’t compete with a bold bag.

In fashion, it's the little things that mean a lot, says Farid Chenoune, who put together a book entitled "Carried Away - All About Bags" and an exhibit at the Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. "If you take a little object like this one (a handbag), you'll put together a lot of stories of what life is, what power is, religiosity, what men's and women's relationships are - and it's all fashion, too."
